My Weekend

Over the weekend I did a lot of things. Like on Friday I went to my neighbors house and helped cook for the next days party. On Saturday I went to my friends party and saw horses dance i rode some of them, I saw some people fall off, I saw some some body get kicked. On Sunday I went with my cousin to Filmore, we went to feed fishes. That was really fun.

Chapparal

The geography of the chapparal is dry dirt a little of dry grass and a few trees.The animals there are Aardwolfs, Black-tailed jackrabbit, cactus wren, golden jackal, grey fox, isand grey fox, puma, san joachin kit fox,, spotted skunk, and wild goats. The climate in the Chapparal is really hot and dry. Many fires occure in the Chapparal because of the hot weather and the dry grass. The vegetation in the Chapparal are torrey pine, mountain mahogany, lebanon cedar, common sagebrush, fairy duster,coyote brush, and olive tree. The geography in the Chapparal has very flat plains and mountain slopes.

Tundra

The Tundra is very cold and it is a very snowy place. There are snowy plains and mountains.The weather can get as low as -70 degeress celsius. Alot of Animals live there like Owls, Foxes, Flies, Polar bears, Rabbits, Carribou, and Dears. There are only afew trees and bushes.

Grassland

The grassland of course has grass, bushes, and trees. The climate is warm and could get windy.The grassland gets 30 inches of rain per year. Prairie dogs, squirrels, moles, and buffalo. The Prairie is usually flat.

Savanna

The Savanna is a grassland with shrubs and isolated trees. Not alot of rain falls on the savanna. It is always warm in the savanna. In winter it is a very dry season. In summer it is a very wet summer.An average of 15 to 25 inches of rain falls in the summer.The Serengeti Plains are some of the most known. In the Savanna animals like lions, zebras, elephants, and giraffes and many types of ungulates graze and hunt. What do u know about the Savanna?

Dessert

The dessert has sand, rocks, and sand dunes. There are Scorpions, vultures, snakes, lizards, hawks, and coyotes. There is Cactus and a little bit of trees. The climate is hot in the day. It is cold in the night. i am going to the dessert in May.
